Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Murphey Muddle made the kick off and thus started the match. Darin Gracey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryant Cudmore in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute, Andrew Minter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carsyn Howarth took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Randell Malacarne. Randell Malacarne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Clanside FC's Carsyn Howarth made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Randell Malacarne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Randell Malacarne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carsyn Howarth, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bishop Toomey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clanside FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bishop Toomey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Randell Malacarne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brynn Berresford kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ike Erwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Bray Millar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clanside FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Randell Malacarne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carsyn Howarth, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Bray Millar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randell Malacarne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darin Gracey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murphey Muddle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braedan Paull received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darin Gracey came out and tried to block the shot, but Braedan Paull slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bishop Toomey during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Clanside FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bray Millar made a kick off. Roger Kennedy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Malacarne having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clanside FC's Roger Kennedy got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 67th minute, Bryant Cudmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Clanside FC booed when Glenferrie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brynn Berresford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ike Erwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorimer Crapp hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Glenferrie's Andrew Minter seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andrew Minter the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Glenferrie protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andrew Minter had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Glenferrie! Randell Malacarne made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Roger Kennedy sent off a good shot on target. If Broderick Johnston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Glenferrie's Ray Bridson got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Glenferrie's zone, Bray Millar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randell Malacarne came out of the goal and Bray Millar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Clanside FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Glenferrie.
