Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marshal Aliendi kicked off to start the match. Paul Mudie hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Hedges's goalkeeper Peter Algoud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedict Jackson. Rodd Pears kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Hedges's goal looked a bit too open when Crawford Bohn came free, but Peter Algoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Algoud was a little too slow when Lance Stanton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Hedges booed when Kevington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordon Mackney didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brannan Blackham during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brannan Blackham hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Kevington's Lance Stanton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Algoud. Peter Algoud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marshal Aliendi in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Stanton saved Kevington from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedict Jackson to strike the kick off in the second half. Bill Triplett was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes Hedges got a freekick which was hit by Bill Triplett. Peter Algoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Stanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Algoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Stanton in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kevington's goalkeeper Roland Stanton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Algoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crawford Bohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Peter Algoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Stanton in the 61st minute of play. Hedges's Peter Algoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crawford Bohn in the 67th minute of play. Peter Algoud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedict Jackson went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Lance Stanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Algoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Kevington's Crawford Bohn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Algoud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 82nd minute, Crawford Bohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Algoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eden Lowes in the 84th minute of the match. Peter Algoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict Jackson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Hedges's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Stanton came free, but Peter Algoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Algoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Stanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Kevington's Crawford Bohn in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hedges's goalie prevented a goal. Kevington walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
