Jajat Handoyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irwin Stevens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Inamotos got a freekick which was hit by Preston Kreck. Fred Nyhuus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Irwin Stevens. Inamotos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Irwin Stevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jajat Handoyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Darian Saisell hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Jajat Handoyo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Irwin Stevens. The goal made the score 1-0. Irwin Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jajat Handoyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Davey Isaac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irwin Stevens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilson Lenard went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fred Nyhuus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Irwin Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Willison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nikitas Karelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddy Willison to make the kick off. Blaxland FC's Rodd Tucknott got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Blaxland FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Blaxland FC's Jajat Handoyo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 68 minutes of play, Blaxland FC's Jajat Handoyo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irwin Stevens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Irwin Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jajat Handoyo in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Jajat Handoyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inamotos's Irwin Stevens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Blaxland FC's Jajat Handoyo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irwin Stevens was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Eddy Willison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davey Isaac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Jajat Handoyo made a precise shot to the right of Irwin Stevens. Inamotos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Blaxland FC's Quincy Howard was substituted for Cassidy Hollingworth. 91 minutes into the match, Inamotos's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Nyhuus came free, but Irwin Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Jajat Handoyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Inamotos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ryan Oshea hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Inamotos's zone, Jajat Handoyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irwin Stevens came out of the goal and Jajat Handoyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irwin Stevens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jajat Handoyo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Blaxland FC were the better team. Blaxland FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
