In the 12th minute of the match, Mete Golob tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zheng Chao saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. György Németh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zheng Chao came out and tried to block the shot, but György Németh slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 21st minute of play forced Glasston's goalkeeper Carlton Convine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Carlton Convine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Obscurials. Rafael van der Vaart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Zheng Chao made a huge save. In the 25th minute Mete Golob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Carlton Convine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Kevin Lyle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlton Convine. The goal made the score 1-2. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Tom Rheistein with Eddy Watts as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The Obscurials's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
