The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso de la Cruz got free with Inguma Madama in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Inguma Madama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute Alfredo Ferrant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inguma Madama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Fernandino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Inguma Madama when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Inguma Madama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Alfonso de la Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inguma Madama. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso de la Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Venceslao Mayllar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venceslao Mayllar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Inguma Madama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Mario Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inguma Madama. The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. When Ismael Tejedor fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Ismael Tejedor a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Tejedor hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Eduardo Fontirroig scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inguma Madama, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inguma Madama came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz. But to his dismay, Alfonso de la Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso de la Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inguma Madama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a free kick in the 69th minute. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso de la Cruz in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute.
