Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Murilo Fernandes made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes mar-azul got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Gaitano. In the 5th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevão Lemos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Roberto Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Lemos having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Estevão Lemos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Roberto Pacheco scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. Estevão Lemos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Murilo Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38th play minutes Murilo Fernandes shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Estevão Lemos. Estevão Lemos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a mar-azul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 44th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Estevão Lemos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Estevão Lemos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estevão Lemos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 65 minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Fernandes in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, mar-azul's Máximo Viegas got a free kick in the 71st minute. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Estevão Lemos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 79th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 81 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Estevão Lemos managed to make a qualified save. mar-azul's players were relieved. Cristian Sancho made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Estevão Lemos would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The nice shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Estevão Lemos had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Estevão Lemos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
