After 10 minutes, Brais Montiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brais Montiel kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Abram Luque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inguma Madama. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Luque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mateo Leguizamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
