Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Hoffmann in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Hoffmann in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Cléberson Munhoz had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 23rd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Porto in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Agroboys SM - CIMZ's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Monteiro came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Machado. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Valério Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valério Monteiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Hoffmann in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Hoffmann in the 41st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Régis Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Hoffmann to make the kick off. Marco Hoffmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Paulinho Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Régis Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Hoffmann in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Agroboys SM - CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match, Marco Hoffmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 92 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Porto came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Régis Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 94th minute. When the match was over Agroboys SM - CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
