Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Motta having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Emílio Motta. Guará FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gustave Martinot hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emílio Motta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guará FC's Emílio Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Erlingur Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Mello during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amadeu Mello hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erlingur Haaland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.

Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Alagoano in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emílio Motta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Motta having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Tiago Gabriel Vieira got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emílio Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Guará FC's Emílio Motta got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emílio Motta made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. The Guará FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Guará FC's Erlingur Haaland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Erlingur Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guará FC's Emílio Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Guará FC's Emílio Motta got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Emílio Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than Guará FC and deserved their victory. The Guará FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
