A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alto Muro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Cesano Boscone's Biagio Ramoser fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Maggi in the 38th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Maggi in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biagio Di Marzio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Biagio Di Marzio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Cesano Boscone's Felice De Fina was substituted for Biagio Di Marzio. In the 46th minute, Biagio Di Marzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Alto Muro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Cesano Boscone's goalkeeper Alto Muro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cesano Boscone's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Zorita 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Miliano in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alto Muro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alto Muro having to interfere. Alto Muro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 72 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Adrian Miliano notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 minutes Cesano Boscone's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alto Muro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cesano Boscone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
