With his leg Ricardo Zorita managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Dušan Vlahović fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. The throw-in from Freddie Dahlman in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. Wincenty Juroszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dušan Vlahović in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El Salvador for a fine match.
