Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Son Banana in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Son Banana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Son Banana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Son Banana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Manfredi AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Son Banana was the one to do the kick off. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Manfredi AFC from getting a goal against them.
