Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fryderyk Jajecznica made the kick off which started today's match. If Fryderyk Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Fryderyk Jajecznica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 19 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Spartans Lodz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Fryderyk Jajecznica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans Lodz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Jajecznica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fryderyk Jajecznica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Spartans Lodz got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iwan Ostrowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Spartans Lodz's corner Iwan Ostrowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Trespalacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Jajecznica, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 36 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Spartans Lodz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The crowd rose to their feet as Spartans Lodz's Iwan Ostrowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. After 46 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Procopio Trespalacios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spartans Lodz's Karol Karp was substituted for Tolek Maziarski. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Fryderyk Jajecznica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Fryderyk Jajecznica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Spartans Lodz's Marcin Marchewka was substituted for Fryderyk Jajecznica. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Marchewka in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Spartans Lodz got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iwan Ostrowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 88 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Procopio Trespalacios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Iwan Ostrowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 100th minute, Witold Pryputnicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Spartans Lodz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
