The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 53rd minute of play. Benedicto Bihar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Seçkin Öksüzoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seçkin Öksüzoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Batıkan Muhsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peru's Eliseo Mina got a free kick in the 82nd minute.
