Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Fogaš having to interfere. Ivan Fogaš came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marián Fabula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Fogaš having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Bodovce FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Čišovský to maneuver through the defense. Eduard Majer tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ivan Fogaš. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 34th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bodovce FK's Marián Fabula in the 36th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Julio Vera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ecuador through an amazing save. Bodovce FK were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Rapoš took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bodovce FK's corner Peter Rapoš fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bodovce FK's Ivan Fogaš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play.

In the 53rd minute Ladislav Rottmaier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bodovce FK's Ivan Fogaš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bodovce FK from getting a goal against them. Marek Patráš's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Bodovce FK's Ivan Fogaš got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivan Fogaš made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Fogaš, 0-5. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ivan Fogaš in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
