Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jardel Gol started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Fan Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hu Fan Yi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gheorghe Blajin. Hu Fan Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buckingham AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hu Fan Yi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 31st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Fan Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hu Fan Yi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Norton got free with Dante Lacasa in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hu Fan Yi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After 42 played minutes Buckingham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jack Norton. A collision led to Buckingham AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mihail Gabor hit a great ball. Luca Rouco charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Buckingham AFC from getting a goal against them. Hu Fan Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Blajin in the 58th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Hu Fan Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hu Fan Yi having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Gheorghe Blajin made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buckingham AFC's Benji Renner was substituted for Guamán Olozaga. Hu Fan Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 73rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
