After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Blicharz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Blicharz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Dráuzio Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U.VAGABUNDOS's Filip Blicharz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Oséias Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Blicharz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Godoi in the 28th minute of the match. U.VAGABUNDOS's Filip Blicharz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. Filip Blicharz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mexico booed when U.VAGABUNDOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes U.VAGABUNDOS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Queiroz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Bittencourt during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when U.VAGABUNDOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robrecht Moreau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filip Blicharz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, U.VAGABUNDOS's Oséias Vianna got a free kick in the 61st minute. The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute really tested Filip Blicharz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alberto Tafalla succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 63rd playminute. 71 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Palmeira came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Queiroz in the 75th minute of play. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes U.VAGABUNDOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filip Blicharz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 90 minutes of play U.VAGABUNDOS's Oséias Vianna was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 91 played minutes U.VAGABUNDOS got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Vianna. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Filip Blicharz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 95th minute. Mexico played a much better game than U.VAGABUNDOS and deserved their victory. The U.VAGABUNDOS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
