Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Grasshoppers Klucze getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Imbor in the 31st minute of play. Grasshoppers Klucze were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hieronim Skrzypek took the corner. The corner led to Grasshoppers Klucze's Kacper Charamut getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With an all-out effort, Peru's Tanek Bielejewski threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Raschke in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Igor Praski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grasshoppers Klucze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Igor Praski got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Tanek Bielejewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Hugon Imbor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeusz Raschke got free with Rolando Noboa in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeusz Raschke spun around in front of the goal 80 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Rolando Noboa grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Charamut, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Bielejewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. After some careless play in the Grasshoppers Klucze defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanek Bielejewski. The Grasshoppers Klucze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanek Bielejewski should have stopped the shot.
