Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Van Den Wijngaert started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the KV Schoonwater defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Ingelbert. The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Ingelbert should have stopped the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Refael De Boeck in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Schoonwater the free kick. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Elias Geraerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 31st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Refael De Boeck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Refael De Boeck really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 37th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pino Van Hinnendaels got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Edvin Viklund during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sven-Edvin Viklund kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Patricio Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pino Van Hinnendaels in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Ingelbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Ingelbert could save by the left post. The Venezuela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KV Schoonwater from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
