Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Flöter in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jaime Quiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dé Čáp kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oscar Federspiel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerry Flöter in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Oscar Federspiel made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Ruiz in the 94th minute of play.
