Pagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 28th minute, Alketas Rogas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Avraam Maggioros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Pagos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. Jaime Cazalla shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Avraam Maggioros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Avraam Maggioros managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pagos FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Avraam Maggioros. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avraam Maggioros was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Avraam Maggioros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avraam Maggioros. Avraam Maggioros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Avraam Maggioros. Pagos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Avraam Maggioros was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Kevin Carballal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avraam Maggioros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Alketas Rogas was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th match minute, Pagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alketas Rogas to maneuver through the defense. Avraam Maggioros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Gisbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Seco scored 7-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avraam Maggioros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Francisco Seco sped through Pagos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Avraam Maggioros. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco, in the 90th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After a defensive mix-up in Pagos FC's zone, Alberto Gisbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avraam Maggioros came out of the goal and Alberto Gisbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uruguay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
