The throw-in from Romeo Sanduru in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Francisco Carballar. 8 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Axel Kielstedt was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. Matias Porfiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Chile were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after AC LeX Luthor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. The corner led Chile's Mariano Lacasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Fulgencio Eyague despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Guillermo Fontirroig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Matias Porfiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Axel Kielstedt in the 22nd minute. After taking down the ball on AC LeX Luthor's corner Romeo Sanduru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC LeX Luthor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Xavier Figueroa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Porfiro in the 27th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Axel Kielstedt ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Pedro Lucas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 31st minute, Guillermo Fontirroig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Matias Porfiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC LeX Luthor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. The supporters of Chile booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peep Pronk in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mario Yepes hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Peep Pronk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Pancho Branca replaced Pedro Lucas. The throw-in from Jose Manzanedo in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AC LeX Luthor's Matias Porfiro. 73 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Eyague narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Isidro Oliviero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 79th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC LeX Luthor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Chile. Mariano Lacasa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fulgencio Eyague. 4-1. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Many of Chile's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chile may have spent more time on the ball, but AC LeX Luthor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
