The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Anszczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miromir Niewiadomski in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Pawel Czarnecki in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikolaj Anszczak having to make a save. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play forced KP Opel Kamień's goalkeeper Mikolaj Anszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pawel Czarnecki hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Pawel Czarnecki charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawel Czarnecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KP Opel Kamień's Pawel Czarnecki got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play forced KP Opel Kamień's goalkeeper Mikolaj Anszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes KP Opel Kamień's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Jose Correa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of KP Opel Kamień booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Niewiadomski in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute KP Opel Kamień were awarded a corner. Florian Szostak went to the cornerflag to take it. KP Opel Kamień's Florian Szostak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, KP Opel Kamień's goalkeeper Mikolaj Anszczak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 70th minute, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonathan Venegas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonathan Venegas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 69 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by KP Opel Kamień's Florian Szostak. But to his dismay, Florian Szostak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jurand Wolniewicz made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miromir Niewiadomski immediately put the ball in play. 89 minutes into the match, KP Opel Kamień's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Mikolaj Anszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KP Opel Kamień's Mikolaj Anszczak. Mikolaj Anszczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing KP Opel Kamień to leave the ground with a draw.
