Silas Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 8th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Jacinto de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIRATAS TFP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute Aquiles Leonidas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiro Peralta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Enrico Rea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PIRATAS TFP the free kick. A collision led to Flamengo FSCMZ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Enrico Rea hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Pires came free, but Silas Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aquiles Leonidas made the kick off in the second half. When PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Clemente Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
