After 20 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé Čáp in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Kerry Flöter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Čáp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Flöter in the 38th minute of play. The wind increased when Kerry Flöter made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAPRIMECKBEL made a substitution. Eztebe Lozares replaced Domingo Mendiko. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jaime Quiros sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Quiros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66th minute, Ramiro Jurgi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dé Čáp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. SAPRIMECKBEL's Jaime Quiros got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Dé Čáp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Quiros in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Dé Čáp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Jaime Quiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Quiros hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
