Mariano Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CERVEZA CALIENTE's Cléber Cavalcante got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Camilo Enaut came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the CERVEZA CALIENTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Enaut couldn't finish the play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 31st minute of the match. CERVEZA CALIENTE's Horacio Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléberson Gomes in the 34th minute. Cléber Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléber Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. Cléber Cavalcante hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youri De Poorter made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CERVEZA CALIENTE's Moises Mogel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Horacio Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Lalla saved CERVEZA CALIENTE from getting behind. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Horacio Lalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Gomes came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes in the game, Luca Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Horacio Lalla having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri De Poorter in the 64th minute of play. Cléberson Gomes took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. CERVEZA CALIENTE made a substitution. The CERVEZA CALIENTE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
