Szczepan Polkoski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Dawid Matela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Ostdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Gonsiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Kazimierz Gdowik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Gdowik in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Kazimierz Gdowik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Matela in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dawid Matela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Szczepan Polkoski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Matela in the 68th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Bakes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ostdorf's Szczepan Polkoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 75th minute of play. When Waclaw Sikola was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Ostdorf:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bolivia:s goal. Borys Traczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Bolivia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
