Frank Björkdahl in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 6th minute of play forced Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s goalkeeper Charles De Meur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles De Meur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Miguel Miralles heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Charles De Meur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Björkdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Miklós Szalay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Björkdahl in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Miklós Szalay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles De Meur. Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 45th minute of the match, Frank Björkdahl got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Berkshire Harthaway FC. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Charles De Meur made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Björkdahl in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Miklós Szalay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berkshire Harthaway FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Árpád Sóti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. If Miklós Szalay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germán Bersabe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 76th minute. Frank Björkdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Björkdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 87 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Germán Bersabe came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
