In the 14th play minute Walmir Breckenfeld came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 2-0. Walmir Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Varga went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 93rd minute of the match.
