Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Eliazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Agostinho Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 1-0. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ritvaldis Rau, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Eliazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agostinho Almeida got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juventudes Libertárias were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Márcio Santos took the corner. Juventudes Libertárias's Agostinho Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Juventudes Libertárias's Márcio Santos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's Márcio Santos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Juventudes Libertárias's zone, Jaime Cazalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Eliazar came out of the goal and Jaime Cazalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ritvaldis Rau in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilson Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Juventudes Libertárias's Rubinho Loureiro got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Juventudes Libertárias's Gilson Meirelles made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Juventudes Libertárias from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ritvaldis Rau in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juventudes Libertárias's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. In the 83rd minute, Kevin Carballal fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Juventudes Libertárias were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Márcio Santos took the corner. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Almeida in the 91st minute of play. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agostinho Almeida went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Juventudes Libertárias fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
