Joshua Miralles's late challenge caught a Hudiksvalls United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Sebastian Christoffersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hudiksvalls United the free kick. After 42 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Villa. During the 71st minute of the match Alejandro Villa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alejandro Villa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Hudiksvalls United booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Thor Grönberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Robin Beck came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Hudiksvalls United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Beck couldn't finish the play. Bolivia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hudiksvalls United had controlled the match.
