Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jamaica's Finlay Stair started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Gaspar Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Freire in the 5th minute of play. Karlus Waugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jacinto Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leron Sale charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leron Sale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kordal Duff to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Travassos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Ken United booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Paulo Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ken United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jamaall Padmore hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Paulo Freire scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Bento in the 32nd minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Porfírio Regalado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Porfírio Regalado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Jacinto Vaz had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Finlay Stair's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Bento to make the kick off. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Bento in the 55th minute. The supporters of Ken United booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfírio Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Bento went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porfírio Regalado got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Rui Bento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ken United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Fernando Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Damásio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 91 minute of play. Marcos Damásio's late challenge caught a Jamaica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Damásio helped the player get up and apologised. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Freire in the 97th minute of play. Ken United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
