Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo made the kick off and thus started the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon Beuke in the 3 minute of the game. After having played for 9 minutes, Alex Mansilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academica Pulheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Mansilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Mansilha let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 14th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. After a defensive mix-up in Academica Pulheim's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Heyckendorf came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Simon Beuke, made in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Mansilha in the 19th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Heyckendorf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul Heyckendorf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Paul Heyckendorf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Golke in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Paul Heyckendorf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Mansilha struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academica Pulheim. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Joachim Kretschmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academica Pulheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Joachim Kretschmer got a free kick in the 45th minute. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Simon Beuke with Kurt Ahrem as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After the first half Peru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Mansilha to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Lutz Golke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutz Golke in the 59th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lutz Golke, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Lutz Golke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Zbigniew Setara replaced Kurt Ahrem. Academica Pulheim's Hugó Bøss was substituted for Joachim Kretschmer. Academica Pulheim's Maxime Vrints was substituted for Lutz Golke. 65 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Paul Heyckendorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Heyckendorf having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf. Paul Heyckendorf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Milagros Fraga took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Heyckendorf. Paul Heyckendorf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Anthony Alvarado hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Simon Beuke in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 87th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Lineker in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Paul Heyckendorf in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Milagros Fraga 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. In the 94th minute Maxime Vrints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Academica Pulheim's zone, Rafael Gallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Heyckendorf came out of the goal and Rafael Gallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Academica Pulheim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
