When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Domingo Chago sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. After 10 minutes, Abraham Alguacil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Pagos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Chago in the 13th minute of play. Öztürk Terim scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Campens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Mirea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Chago in the 29th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Ionel Mirea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Domingo Chago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Domingo Chago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pagos FC were winning 0-6.

Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Domingo Chago scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 54th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuralp Akbal. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuralp Akbal went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Uwe Birmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. In the 69th minute, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dylan Sarmiento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dylan Sarmiento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 69th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Bartzokas in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Chago got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Domingo Chago. But to his dismay, Domingo Chago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Pagos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Panama.
