Cylon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. 庄志政 kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 林城谦 skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Miguel Miralles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. 林城谦 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, 汪飞文 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 林城谦 made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Cylon's 潘悦希 was substituted for 庞桦景. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with 林城谦 in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 林城谦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. 林城谦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
