Muñeco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Muñeco FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tyrone Summerfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Muñeco FC throughout the match.
