Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the San Antonio HotSPURS defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Donio. The San Antonio HotSPURS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Donio should have stopped the shot. Macos Graciani made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Donio having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Alonso Snider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonso Snider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when San Antonio HotSPURS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weldon Gibbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Corley in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Donio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Donio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cesar Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonso Snider to make the kick off. Cesar Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to San Antonio HotSPURS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Stewart Pritchard hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Donio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Cesar Donio. San Antonio HotSPURS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Macos Graciani made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alberto Tafalla immediately put the ball in play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Donio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Rouco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 69 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. San Antonio HotSPURS's Cary Wright was substituted for Stewart Pritchard. Cesar Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 74th minute of play. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Stefanos Kassanos replaced Jarod Davison. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Antonio HotSPURS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio managed to reach the ball for a save. Cesar Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of San Antonio HotSPURS booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Norino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cesar Donio. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
