Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) RS Wikowyje's Bogdan Fikus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced RS Wikowyje's goalkeeper Redha Elin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. RS Wikowyje's Redha Elin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Redha Elin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. RS Wikowyje's Redha Elin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. Redha Elin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Fikus in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Bogdan Fikus scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. Redha Elin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogdan Rakiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time RS Wikowyje's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Bogdan Fikus. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Redha Elin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Redha Elin. 1-2. In the 41stth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RS Wikowyje's Redha Elin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Agustín Saelices's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Redha Elin was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. With an all-out effort, RS Wikowyje's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bogdan Fikus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Redha Elin having to interfere. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Fikus in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. A hard shot 73 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Redha Elin managed to make a qualified save. RS Wikowyje's players were relieved. With his leg Redha Elin managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Fikus in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, RS Wikowyje's Bogdan Fikus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
