The supporters of FC Alytus United booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luz Tejedor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Cafu Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarūnas Kuliešius got free with Rolando Noboa in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes in the game Vilmer Röd did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Karl-Michael Bremming. Milagros Fraga hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Deividas Aukštakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 28 minutes in the game Vilmer Röd did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lowrey Fallen. When Daavid Šembera came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Alytus United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daavid Šembera couldn't finish the play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Julian Murillo hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after FC Alytus United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Jarūnas Kuliešius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daavid Šembera. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarūnas Kuliešius to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Luz Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Jarūnas Kuliešius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Jarūnas Kuliešius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarūnas Kuliešius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
