Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branden Shelton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye K.F TIRANA's goalie prevented a goal. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branden Shelton having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cristoforo De Luca tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play forced K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. K.F TIRANA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Branden Shelton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Simaku kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for K.F TIRANA. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Branden Shelton having to make a save. Branden Shelton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 41st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo De Luca in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Cristoforo De Luca made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Durango in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho scored 0-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Branden Shelton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo De Luca in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Branden Shelton made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Branden Shelton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branden Shelton made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Branden Shelton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Branden Shelton having to make a save. Luis Andino made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. K.F TIRANA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Agustín Saelices scored to the left of an out of position Branden Shelton, making the score, 0-4. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Branden Shelton came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute. After 82 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Branden Shelton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by K.F TIRANA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Branden Shelton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Branden Shelton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton didn't even have to move. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
