Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Michael Fridlund made the kick off and thus started the match. Henry Hurtig kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vissefjärda IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Fridlund's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Fridlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 20th minute. Walery Teofila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Nick Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Walery Teofila. In the 53rd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play forced Vissefjärda IF's goalkeeper Ulrik Granqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ulrik Granqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ulrik Granqvist came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 67th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulrik Granqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Michael Fridlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ulrik Granqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Vissefjärda IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walery Teofila in the 87th minute. Walery Teofila's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. 92 minutes into the match, Vissefjärda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ulrik Granqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
