Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Jan Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Jan Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Persson in the 22nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Erol Suer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Erol Suer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Büyükçekmece FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santino Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Erol Suer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Erol Suer came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. But to his dismay, Kevin Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Persson made a kick off. Axel Montenegro, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when Büyükçekmece FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Vester didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Paul Basarab made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute Jan Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artem Strizhev who took care of the corner kick. In the 67th minute, Bishop Fazey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 71st minute of the match, Abram Secada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erol Suer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erol Suer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Basarab, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Jan Persson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Emrah Baysoy was substituted for Alvar Vester. 85 minutes into the game, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Colombia's attentive Abram Secada managed to snatch the ball when Rareș Miron made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Erol Suer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Abram Secada got a free kick in the 95th minute.
