An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Orhan Toycan in the 9th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Meng Ke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after nRdLiFe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 25th minute, nRdLiFe's Dündar Ozansu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Meng Ke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, nRdLiFe's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Meng Ke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of nRdLiFe's goalie and right to Facundo Cadaval. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. nRdLiFe's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 57th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reine Dahlqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reine Dahlqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reine Dahlqvist hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Ahmet Orhan Toycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind nRdLiFe's goalkeeper Meng Ke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Dündar Ozansu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meng Ke having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. With a little luck, nRdLiFe's Meng Ke got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
