The shot was a little too simple and Ulrik Granqvist could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulrik Granqvist. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Vissefjärda IF's Ulrik Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 19th minute of play forced Vissefjärda IF's goalkeeper Ulrik Granqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulrik Granqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nick Stark went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Vissefjärda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ulrik Granqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Vissefjärda IF got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Smedfeldt. 32 minutes into the match, Vissefjärda IF's goalkeeper Ulrik Granqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ulrik Granqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Teofila in the 42nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

50 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vissefjärda IF's Ulrik Granqvist. Ulrik Granqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Vissefjärda IF's zone, Facundo Cadaval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulrik Granqvist came out of the goal and Facundo Cadaval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, 龙雄鹏 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulrik Granqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrik Granqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 64th minute of play. 龙雄鹏 kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Vissefjärda IF's Michael Fridlund. But to his dismay, Michael Fridlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ulrik Granqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Vissefjärda IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Macos Graciani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ulrik Granqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 92nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by 龙雄鹏 in the 93rd minute. Henry Hurtig hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Mexico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
