Santa Maria was slow to take the kick. During this time Sprzedawcy ogórków's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateusz Bielejewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Hélder Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
