Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chapadao Rs's Pedro de Toledo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raphael Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Pedro de Toledo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Chapadao Rs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Chapadao Rs's Rodriguinho Freire fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Joaquin Gayoso was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Jairo Faustino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frechoso Polentinos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Raphael Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chapadao Rs's Raphael Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 23rd minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Chapadao Rs's Pedro de Toledo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raphael Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro de Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. In the 38th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Chapadao Rs's Raphael Peres. Raphael Peres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Chapadao Rs's Pedro de Toledo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raphael Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st minute, Rodriguinho Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Vitinho Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Pedro de Toledo scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Aparecido came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Faustino kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Chapadao Rs's Pedro de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match Chapadao Rs got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro de Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frechoso Polentinos made a great header on Chapadao Rs's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro de Toledo in the 76th minute of play. Kevin Carballal's late challenge caught a Chapadao Rs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Carballal helped the player get up and apologised. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Jairo Faustino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 96th minute of play forced Chapadao Rs's goalkeeper Raphael Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chapadao Rs support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
