Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Tongson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. In the 43rdth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albirex Niigata FC's Christian Goy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 51st minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Christian Goy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Hardo Kaarna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Goy. After 75 minutes, 俞冰帆 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albirex Niigata FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, 俞冰帆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khai Choy got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Polo Maldini. Andrew Tongson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ivan Navarro got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sebastian Villa. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
