The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Spadoni in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Bar Marconi United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Andreozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Fabrizio Adriano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabrizio Adriano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Fabrizio Adriano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraguay! After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Balint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them.

In the 76thth minute of the game Costin Alucai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Alucai in the 79th minute of play. After 82 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrico Romanese who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Bar Marconi United's corner Enzo Di Rocco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Alucai in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Costin Alucai made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute Bar Marconi United were awarded a corner. Enrico Romanese went to the cornerflag to take it. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
