Thiago Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Ahlroht having to interfere. In the 18th minute Zé Roberto Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Roberto Camargo got free with Sven-Olof Ahlroht in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Klemensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 36 minutes, Fernando Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UPTEXTIL.COM and the AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Zé Roberto Camargo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zé Roberto Camargo made the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 89 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Camargo came free, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, Jeremias Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Ahlroht came out of the goal and Jeremias Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilhelm Anundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zé Roberto Camargo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that UPTEXTIL.COM were the better team. UPTEXTIL.COM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
