In the 6th match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iso Kuula to maneuver through the defense. Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmas Vuorinen in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Tenho Pihkala got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Rutenio Poveda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seppo Palsola skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Alberto Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urmas Vuorinen in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tenho Pihkala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Urmas Vuorinen made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Alberto Villa. Talcampeón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Urmas Vuorinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Francisco Maffey to maneuver through the defense. Urmas Vuorinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rainerio Huidobro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Seppo Palsola 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palloketut's goalkeeper Seppo Palsola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Rainerio Huidobro put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Seppo Palsola. 45 minutes into the game, Juha Kokkonen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palloketut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcampeón FC the free kick. In the 45th minute, Juha Kokkonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rainerio Huidobro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rainerio Huidobro came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Talcampeón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rainerio Huidobro couldn't finish the play. Urmas Vuorinen might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Alberto Villa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urmas Vuorinen ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urmas Vuorinen. Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmas Vuorinen in the 61st minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palloketut! Palloketut:s Seppo Palsola showed great skill when he stopped Pierre Fevre:s penalty. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rainerio Huidobro couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rainerio Huidobro in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seppo Palsola saved Palloketut from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Rainerio Huidobro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seppo Palsola was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cerilo Bustunzuria during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Cerilo Bustunzuria. In the 82ndth minute of the game Rainerio Huidobro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palloketut's Seppo Palsola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Palloketut defense, Rainerio Huidobro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seppo Palsola. The Palloketut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seppo Palsola should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Rainerio Huidobro put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Seppo Palsola. Seppo Palsola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainerio Huidobro in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Rainerio Huidobro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talcampeón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainerio Huidobro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seppo Palsola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
